The scholarship value is 25% tuition fee reduction for the minimum standard full-time duration of the scholar’s chosen undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
Scholarships in this program have the following conditions:
- Available for students commencing in 2020 only;
- Provides a waiver of 25% of the annual tuition fee for each year of the program for the full duration of the degree.
- Open to citizens of any country (except Australia and New Zealand);
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

The 2020 University of Adelaide Global Academic Excellence Scholarship (International) is a highly competitive award that rewards commencing undergraduate and postgraduate coursework international students who have demonstrated academic excellence in previous studies.
Each Faculty will award two only scholarships of a 50% reduction of the tuition fee to the applicant in their faculty with the highest score above an ATAR of 98 or GPA of 6.8.

Scholarships in this program have the following conditions:
- Available for students commencing in 2020 only;
- Available for commencing direct-entry international undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students, including those who are required to undertake a Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP) prior to their degree commencement;
- Open to citizens of any country (except Australia and New Zealand);
- Available for study in any discipline.
The selection process for The 2020 University of Adelaide Global Academic Excellence Scholarships is competitive, with academic achievement forming the main basis for scholarship selection. As a general guide, the University of Adelaide will consider applicants who have achieved an academic level on par with the following:
- For undergraduate programs: Raw ATAR of 98 OR its equivalent
- For postgraduate coursework programs: A GPA 6.8 out of 7 OR its equivalent
The following applicants are not eligible to receive these scholarships:
- Current University of Adelaide students who are transferring from one program to another prior to successful completion of their program of study (internal transfers);
- Students who are recipients of a scholarship covering tuition fees awarded by a recognised scholarship awarding body such as a government ministry or department;
- Applicants for Masters by Research or PhD programs.

This scholarship rewards international students commencing an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification who have received academic merit in their studies. It is not necessary to apply for the 2020 Global Citizens Scholarship because this scholarship will be automatically awarded to students who meet the eligibility requirements and scholarship closing date requirements.

The scholarship offers a reduction of between 15% and 30% of the tuition fee for the minimum standard duration of the scholars chosen undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
Commencing an undergraduate qualification
- Year 12 overseas student with a minimum raw ATAR equivalent of 80 for a 15% scholarship.
- Year 12 overseas student with a minimum raw ATAR equivalent of 90 for a 30% scholarship.
Commencing a postgraduate qualification
- Grade point average (GPA) of minimum 5.0/7 or equivalent to receive a 15% scholarship.
- Grad point average (GPA) of minimum 6.0/7 or equivalent to receive a 30% scholarship.
The scholarship has the following conditions:
- Available for students commencing in 2020 only;
- Available for commencing direct-entry international undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students, including those who are required to undertake a Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP) prior to their degree commencement;
- A minimum GPA score;
- Open to citizens of any country (except Australia and New Zealand);

Family Scholarship
The University of Adelaide offers the Family Scholarship (International) to commencing international undergraduate and postgraduate students who are either spouse or immediate family of an existing University of Adelaide student or alumnus.
The scholarship offers a 25% tuition fee reduction for the minimum standard full-time duration of the scholar’s chosen undergraduate or postgraduate degree.

Scholarships in this program have the following conditions:

It is not necessary to apply for the 2020 University of Adelaide Higher Education Scholarship because this scholarship will be automatically awarded to students who meet the eligibility requirements. Scholarship recipients will be confirmed at the point of acceptance.

Scholarships are open throughout the year but applicants are encouraged to finalise their admissions process as early as possible to allow enough time for them to apply for a visa and prepare for their studies.
The scholarship offers a 25% tuition fee reductionfor the minimum standard full-time duration of the scholar’s chosen undergraduate or postgraduate degree.

Partner Scholarship
The 2020 University of Adelaide Partner Scholarship (International) rewards the graduates of the University’s Partner programs that have formal agreements with the University.
The scholarship offers a tuition fee reduction for the minimum standard full-time duration of the scholar’s chosen undergraduate or postgraduate degree. The fee reduction is determined on a partner-by-partner basis.

Scholarships in this program have the following conditions:
- Available for students commencing in 2020 only;
- Open to citizens of any country (except Australia and New Zealand);
- Provides a waiver of up to 25% of the annual tuition fee for each year of the program for the full duration of the degree.
